Spring Newsletter

Spring might be here, but there’s still plenty of snow time left!

As an ode to the transitional character of this time of year, we offer up the following fun microadventure. Think of it as a spring fling, Swedish style!

Still seeking bigger adventures in the snow?

Our Black Label tents are the go-to choice for demanding, all-season trips of any length, in any weather. From the remarkably light yet burly two-person Nammatj 2 to the expansive 4-person Keron 4 GT or Saitaris, Black Label tents are equally capable for mountaineering, paddling, backpacking or trekking. They also offer maximum comfort in any season, including summertime!

Red Label tents: all season “all arounders”

With models well-suited to a broad range of outdoor adventures, in all types of weather, Red Label models are a great choice for the “shoulder seasons.” They are the perfect choice for spring ski tours, early season backpack trips, adventure “bikepacking” excursions, and the like, and, of course, they are excellent for any of your summer trips, too.

For two, the Allak, seen here, is an excellent choice: it’s fully free standing, it’s roomy and comfortable, and it will easily hold up to any lingering winter weather.

A room of your own

The freedom of the hills

Designed with alpine-style mountaineering in mind, the two-person, low profile Jannu is tough and remarkably light. It’s a great choice for higher angle adventures or anywhere you might encounter exposed terrain and demanding weather. Photo: Bjorn Karthous

Your rucksack on your back

Backpackers who want both extra comfort and light weight should look no further than the two entrance, two vestibule Kaitum and Kaitum GT models. Available in 2-, 3- and, new for 2017, 4-person versions. Photo Péter Endes

Holding out for summer weather?

Warm days, lots of sunshine and no snow in sight! Summer is right around the corner, and it’s a great time for trips into the backcountry. Whether you’re a backpacker, a paddler, or a cyclist we have just the tents for your snow free journeys: our redesigned Anjan, Anjan GT, and Rogen Yellow Label tents.

Looking for inspiration?

Freya Hoffmeister is truly a paddling super star. She has done solo circumnavigations of Iceland, New Zealand’s South Island, and South America. Currently she’s out on her bid to become the first person to paddle circumnavigate North America. We sat down with her on the eve of her launch for her latest adventure to talk long distance paddling and, of course, tents!
